William is an Automation Consultant working connecting conversational systems to complex client back ends. While working at IBM, he became particularly interested in how conversational systems could be used to modernise IT Service Management. He has worked with FTSE 100 clients in the banking, oil & gas, and media sectors to help them bring together conversation and automation. This often means combining conversational platforms with Robotic Process Automation, scripting, and APIs to produce internally-facing chatbots which are capable of real action on enterprise systems.
Before diving into the technology industry, William studied Classics at Oxford University and spent a year singing professionally and teaching at a secondary school. When not busy with music, he can often be found working on cars or taking (disappointing) photographs.
